We might now what it's like to live post-college life, post-pregnancy life or post-dating life (meaning you are now married) and we know that after all those events there are things that must follow after. Could be starting a family or buying a home etc etc... but what do you do after you compete on the largest athletic stage in the world? And how the he** does that relate to us "average" sports women??

Taking a look at what these two women did after the 2016 Rio Olympics we might have a better idea with how to cope with life after we think we have peeked.

SIMONE BILES

Besides completing several photo shoots and interviewing with every major magazine/content provider in the sports world, gold medal gymnast Simone Biles spent most of her year after the Olympics by taking a stand in the "Me Too" movement. Biles spoke out both publicly and on social media concerning sexual harassment allegations against previous USAG team doctor, Larry Nasser.

"Please believe me when I say it was a lot harder to first speak those words out loud than it is now to put them on paper," she wrote. "For too long I’ve asked myself, 'Was I too naive? Was it my fault?' I now know the answers to those questions. No. No, it was not my fault. No, I will not and should not carry the guilt that belongs to Larry Nassar, USAG, and others." - Biles

After Nasser's sentancing, Biles decided to take her moves to the dance floor and stared on 24th season of Dancing with the Stars. She did fairly well, making it all the way to the semi-final round.

By 2018 Biles headed back to full-time training and decided to give the USA team another round. Upon competing at US Gymnastics Championships, she swept all events winning the meet by an incredible 6.55 points.

CHLOE KIM

Chloe Kim won a gold medal at the age of 17. Seventeen. One-Seven. Her highschool experience was probably much different than the average 17 yr old but that is to be expected.

After being crowned one of the youngest snowboarders to win gold in Olympic History, Kim completed many many interviews and noted that fame really is a crazy thing.

Kim has been awarded three ESPY's in 2018 for Best Female Athlete, Best Female Olympian, and Best Female Action Sports Athlete.

So what could a young women do after all this....

Enroll in University. Specifically Princeton University (class of 2022).

ON THE HORIZON

Both these girls are young, accomplished, famous and have completed one of their life long dreams. It's hard to think how they would find anything worth their time after accomplishing something like this, but both of them kept going.

Whether it was giving back, standing beside struggling teammates, being there for interviews to inspire or going back to what made them great, they all made moves.

It's important to have goals and celebrate, etc - not saying those things should be forgotten. We are saying - no matter if it was the best day of your life or the worst of all time, there is always tomorrow and their is always a purpose for your life. It doesn't have to be something you've strived for since day one, it can be an entirely new adventure with all new excitement and hard work waiting for you.
